The high percentage of projects in Africa is mainly driven by public sector engagements (61 percent). Half of all analyzed private sector projects were located in Asia, followed by Latin America and the Caribbean and Africa (Figure 3.3) .

While the highest share of public sector projects were in the transport, energy and agriculture sectors, half of private sector projects worked through financial institutions, followed by energy sector projects (Figure 3.4) .
