We are especially proud to see this im- portant project start! It reminds me of a quote by Brian Tracy: ‘Every minute you spend in planning saves 10 minutes in execution; this gives you a 1,000 percent return on energy!’ Looking back, this vital project reached the execution stage due to the efficient time planning and excellent collaboration of our government and World Bank partners. It is a pleasure to see this essential project becoming a reality. We look forward to a smooth project execution and successful project completion.

The Strengthening Health System Resil- ience Project, co-financed by the OPEC Fund for International Development, supports the implementation of the gov- ernment’s vision for the redevelopment and modernization of the health sector; improving the quality and sustainability of the health system; and strengthening the system’s capacity to plan and respond to emergencies while maintaining continuity of care. Through this project, the scope and quality of secondary healthcare ser- vices delivered to the people of Saint Vin- cent and the Grenadines will be expanded and significantly improved.
