India US$100 million A new 56 km ring road for Chennai, one of the country’s largest cities, will ease congestion and commercial traffic to the port, reduce pollution and travel times, while future-proofing connectivity all around the city – all thanks to this loan.
US$410,000 This grant will contribute to the preparation and implementation of the aforementioned road project, serving a population of more than four million people.
Seychelles US$20 million
Recent crises have demonstrated the fragility of older growth models – but also opened a window of opportunity to build resilience. This loan will strengthen policies for inclusive and sustainable growth, mainly via climate-related reforms to land development, consumer data protection and fishing regulations.
